Tamborine Mountain

Tamborine Mountain is home to a growth population of more than 8100 people who live at North Tamborine, Eagle Heights and Mount Tamborine.

The mountain offers medical center’s,  IGA supermarkets, a hardware shop, banks, post offices, travel agency, computer shop, real estate agents, takeaway food outlets, cafes, restaurants, veterinary clinic, fruit and vegetable market, hairdressers, bakery, butcher, accountant, solicitors,  doctors, dentists, hotels, chemists, and historic hotels, motels, guesthouses and b & b’s.

Education is provided by pre-schools, primary schools St Bernards Junior School,  Tamborine Mountain State School and Tamborine Mountain State High School and Tamborine Mountain College  is a private, non-denominational high school located on Beacon Road.

On the Mountain locals and visitors can enjoy shopping, botanical gardens, rugby league, lawn bowls, tennis, horse riding, bush walking, golf, gymnastics, dancing, martial arts, athletics, soccer, a range of hobby clubs and crafts.

Community facilities include an visitors information centre, playgrounds, community hall, theatre, swimming pool and library. Council’s Customer Service Centre and Library can be found in Main Street where locals and visitors alike can enjoy the relaxed atmosphere.
