Australia’s Outback Spectacular presents their new show ‘Heartland’. Come along and witness a heart warming and immersive arena show with a three course meal and beverages, incredible special effects, inspiring animal performances and a star studded cast.

Set in the Australian Outback Spectacular’s iconic red barn, be transported to the outback with an all new arena show featuring a cast of talented Australian actors and the latest technology that depicts farm life during a severe drought. Follow the true story of farmers Reg and Marge who are struggling to keep their farm going after 5 years without rain. The story depicts the real struggles of Australian farmers and life in the outback as told through humour, quirky characters and friendship set to the soundtrack of popular Australian country music. Using the latest projection technology and with the help of some incredibly talented horses and their riders, see the arena transform into a variety of harsh outback landscapes that give the illusion of rugged plains, green fields, red dust, rocky outcrops, stampeding cattle, fire and rain. Explore the Gold Coast’s Tamborine Mountain with the scenic Rainforest Skywalk. Journey through the emerald green rainforest, the Skywalk will take you from the Rainforest Eco Gallery and on a scenic and adventurous journey through the middle and upper canopies of the rainforest. The Skywalk walkway is a stable, high-tech steel structure that takes visitors through the canopies safely and securely while providing spectacular views of the surrounding Hinterland region.

After you’ve explored the top canopies, you can venture down to the lower canopy to follow the signs to some of the areas most popular areas including rock pools, waterfalls, a butterfly lookout and a local history enclosure. There are also various rest areas along the path to the Cantilever which are perfect for sitting and having a break to enjoy the atmosphere. This 40m-long span that soars 30 metres above the valley gives spectacular views over the creek and rainforest canopies below. At the end, the walk returns along the rainforest floor to the Centre to cap off the journey.
